The understanding of the mechanism of a chemical reaction is crucial if one wants to manipulate chemical reactivity, with the objective to improve chemical selectivity, reaction yields, biological efficacy, etc. In that context, kinetic studies provide one of the most powerful methods of investigating reaction mechanisms, and the continuous development of advanced analytical and computational techniques nowadays allows to obtain highly accurate and valuable information.
Research in this field is multidisciplinary and involves a wide variety of cutting-edge techniques, from kinetics and isotope effects to spectroscopy and computational analysis, aimed at elucidating problems in areas such as general solution studies, catalysis, organometallic and bio-inorganic chemistry.
The program will feature presentations by leading scientists from across the field of inorganic chemistry and will also feature a poster session open to all attendees.
In addition to the invited plenary and keynote lectures, a number of oral presentations will be selected by the organizing committee from among the abstracts received.
